Safe & White® whitening gel

for long lasting natural, white teeth.

Safe & White® whitening gel is a whiteningproduct for your teeth. It is an “In-HomeWhitening System” for use at home with a“mouth tray”.The action of Safe & White® whitening gelis based on Ardox-X® (hydrocarbonoxoboratecomplex), which does notcontain peroxide, nor does the formationof free radicals occur.

Safe
Safe & White® whitening gel can be usedwithout risk by patients with gumproblems. In addition, Safe & White®whitening gel has no acidic pH.As a result, it is absolutely safe for dentalenamel and gums.This innovative product also has thefollowing advantages:

• Harmless to dental enamel, asdemonstrated by Electronic Microscopephotos.
• No gum and teeth sensitiveness.
• No impairment of bonding to dentalenamel.

Peroxides cause damage that weakensbonding. It is therefore advised thatfillings should not be performed forseveral days after whitening.With Safe & White® whitening gel,however, a filling can be performedimmediately after whitening.- Result remains visible longerPeroxides cause damage to the enameland as a result stains bind more rapidlyto the enamel after whitening withperoxide. Hence, teeth discolour morerapidly. Safe & White® whitening gel doesnot damage the enamel and therefore teethremain whiter much longer.

Ardox-X® technology
Ardox-X® is a hydrocarbon-oxoboratecomplex. It produces a whitening effectthrough an oxidative process. The releaseof oxygen is stabilised at the cell levelwithin the complex. Unlike peroxides,no harmful free radicals are formed duringthe oxidation process so therefore it iscompletely harmless to the enamel and gum.

Teeth are gradually whitened withSafe & White® whitening gel.Safe & White® whitening gel dissolvesin water and in saliva. The whitening gel isnon-abrasive and causes no damage orsensitiveness to teeth and gum.How to use Safe & White® whitening gel

• Use of mouth trays
• Application of the gel

Instructions for the use of the mouth traysIn the pack you will find two trays: one forthe upper and one for the lower elements.To fit the mouth tray to the upper teeth:

1. Put out two bowls with enough capacityto submerge the whole mouth tray:
   a. 1 bowl with boiling water
   b. 1 bowl with cold water
2. Hold the mouth tray by the flexible endand immerse it entirely in boiling waterfor 15 seconds (do not exceed this timebecause it could lose its shape entirely).
3. Remove the mouth tray from the boilingwater. Shake off all the water vigorously.
4. Immediately place it into your uppermouth. It feels hot but should not burn.Carefully place your teeth and molarsfirmly against one another and pressyour tongue against the back of yourfront teeth. In this position, suck offany water and air for a few seconds(in so doing, you improve the contactwith your teeth). Massage your lips andteeth with your fingers so that themouth tray fits your teeth as close aspossible.
5. After 1 minute, remove the mouth trayfrom your mouth and immerseimmediately in cold water. After at least3 minutes, take the mouth tray out ofthe cold water. It is now ready for use.

Fit the second mouth tray to the lower teeth:Use the second tray and follow the sameprocess as with the upper teeth, but nowwith the lower mouth.

Instructions for the use of the gel inthe mouth trays

1. Before you start to use the whiteninggel, clean and brush your teeth preferablywith Safe & White® toothpaste forat least 2 minutes (upper and lower).
2. The mouth trays must be dry and clean.
3. Apply Safe & White® whitening gel inthe tray where the molars and teeth areto be lightened. Look at the tray carefullyso that you know where the gel hasto be applied.
4. The whitening gel must be appliedthinly to the required place in the tray,then place it in your mouth.
5. Press the tray well onto the teeth andleave it in your mouth for at least 30minutes. During this time you must noteat or drink anything. Excess saliva mixedwith the Whitening gel must be spat out.
6. After removing the tray, rinse your teethand mouth well with water. Rinse thetray clean and allow it to dry thoroughly.

The treatment may be repeated until thedesired result is obtained.
In most casesthe process will take 2 weeks. If someteeth remain darker than others (caninesfor instance), you can lighten them in thefollowing way: apply just a little whiteninggel to the tray at the site of the darkertooth (or teeth). Do not apply anywhitening gel at the site of teeth/molarsthat are already whitened sufficiently.

When Safe & White® whitening gel is usedas described above, the first results arevisible after one week. We advise you touse Safe & White® whitening gel twice a dayfor 30 minutes for a minimum of two weeks.Consecutive treatment sessions canaccelerate the whitening process.

Discontinuation of treatment
Treatment can be discontinued for one ormore days. The best result, however,is achieved with a continuous treatment.

Measure the whitening results withthe shade guide
Use the shade guide in front of themirror to measure the whiteness of your teeth and smile before and after using the Safe & White® whitening gel.

Depending on how effective you applythe gel in conjunction with the instructionsyou can achieve up to 7 shades whiter teethafter two weeks.

The final result will always depend onthe cause of the discolouration.Brown and yellow teeth (mainly the resultof tobacco, coffee, tea and wine) becomeon average 4 shades lighter. Grey teeth(caused by discolouration of dentinewithin the tooth as a result of medication)will become average 2 to 3 shades lighter.

Precautions

1. Keep out of the reach of children
2. Use the Safe & White® whitening geland the tray only as described above.
3. Avoid contact with the eyes.In the event of eye contact, rinsethoroughly with water.
4. Store in a cool, dry place awayfrom heat and direct sunlight(8-21°Celsius)
5. Do not use when pregnant
